God's Plan of Salvation For All
It
is God’s intent that all achieve eternal life. He wants none of His
children to perish in the depths of hell after their life here is
done. For this reason He sent His only Son to earth as a man, to
suffer and die upon the cross for our sins. God’s gift of eternal life
through Jesus Christ is FREE. There is nothing complicated to receive
the gift. Below are a few scriptures from the Bible that gives us
guidance to achieve this end. They are from the book of Romans and
often called the Romans Road to Salvation.
Step 1
Romans
3:10: “As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one”.
This scripture tells us that not one of us is righteous in the eyes of
God. We may think we are the best person alive, but God knows, because
we are human, we will never meet the mark of righteousness.
Step 2
Romans
3:23: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
None of us are sinless. We are all sinners and God knows our sin. We
must be willing to ask forgiveness for our sin.
Step 3
Romans
5:8: “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were
still sinners, Christ died for us.” God loves you and me. He
allowed His Son to shed His blood on the cross and die for us, that we
may live eternally.
Step 4
Romans
6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” If we die, and never accept Jesus
as our Lord and Savior, we will spend eternity in hell. Our God offers
us eternity with Him, in heaven, if we accept Jesus Christ as our
Savior, ask forgiveness for our sins, and live life anew, according to
His Word (the Holy Bible).
Step 5
Romans
10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be
saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” We speak
through prayer, to Jesus, professing Him as Lord and Savior. We must
accept in our hearts, the forgiveness that comes to us, from our God,
through Jesus Christ our Savior. This is God’s promise to us; not you
may be saved, but you will be saved. This is God’s gift of love to us.
What to pray to receive God‘s gift of salvation and eternal life:
Dear
God, I am a sinner and ask Your forgiveness for my sins. I believe
that Jesus Christ is Your Son, who shed His blood and died for my sin.
I accept Your forgiveness and turn from my sin. I now invite Jesus
Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior. I pray
this in Jesus' name. Amen.
If you
have prayed this prayer, we congratulate you and welcome you into the
family of God. We praise God that you have chosen to accept His gift
of eternal life. We would like to send you some material to help you
in your new Christian walk. Please send your
name, address and email address (email us) so we may send this free material to
you. In the meantime, please pray daily, and as God leads you, (you
will know) tell others about your life changing decision for Christ.
God bless you and keep you warm and comforted in His everlasting love.
